Viking Infantry

Viking Infantry are upgraded Viking Recruits and a very common type of enemy. They are able to defend against ranged attacks, due to their shields.

They are vulnerable to defensive pike formations and upgraded Infantry, as well as Archers with the increased knockback trait or if shot in the back or side.

They can't block ranged attacks if they are engaged in melee combat.

Appear in groups of 1 to 10.

Strengths

• Perform well against Militia and Archers in melee combat.
• Can block ranged attacks.

Weaknesses

• Can't block ranged attacks when engaged in melee combat.
• Perform very badly against stationary pike units.
• Vulnerable to virtually all special attacks.
